Smart Film

This is a retrofit-applied electronic film that switches from frosted to clear when low-voltage power is applied, for Instant Privacy on Demand. Several options are available to include up to 92% Clarity, Reverse Operation where power ON is Frosted, Controllable Embedded logos, Sections, or Blind Slat Options, made inside one piece, with Scene Selection Controls. Smart Film can be used as a marker board and or projection screen when in the frosted state.  Smart Film Blinds Maximum Size: Adhesive Film 60 inches wide x 20 feet long stock goods. 72 inches is available for special orders.

Thickness: 4mm - 7mm for flat glass and .012mm for curved and auto glass

SFB Composition Options: PDLC, PNLC, or Controlled Tint Technology.

When the power is switched off, the liquid crystal molecules are randomly oriented, scattering light, and then our switchable Smart-Film Blinds become opaque (frosted, private). 

When the small electrical supply is switched on, the liquid crystal molecules align, incident light passes through, and our switchable  Smart Film Blinds become instantly clear (transparent).
